Johannesburg [South Africa], Jan 22 : In a major blow to South Africa, middle-order batsman Temba Bavuma has been ruled out of the third and final Test of the three-match series against India due to a fractured finger. The 27-year-old sustained a fracture in his right finger during a domestic one-day cup clash on January 17 and, now he would remain sidelined for at least three to four weeks to recover fully.
Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa and his delegation will depart from Johannesburg on Sunday evening to participate at the World Economic Forum annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland, the presidency said. The WEF meeting in Davos-Klosters was scheduled for January 23 to 26, under the theme “Creating a Shared Future in a Fractured World”, Ramaphosa's acting spokesman Tyrone Seale said.
As ANC national spokesperson, Zizi Kodwa bowed out of his role after the party elected a new national executive committee in December. Kodwa treated his guests at the Raddison Blu Hotel in Sandton to a good flow of holy water and shared his experiences in a light, short speech.
