An Irish man has been charged with attempting to smuggle rare and endangered bird of prey eggs into the UK. Britain's National Crime Agency said that 56-year-old Jeffery Paul Lendrum, an Irish national who had been living in Johannesburg, South Africa, was arrested at Heathrow Airport on 26 June.
