ANC NEC member Nomvula Mokonyane has blamed Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa for the postponement of the state memorial service in honour of anti-apartheid icon Ahmed Kathrada.
Former finance minister Pravin Gordhan is expected to speak at a memorial service for ANC veteran Ahmed Kathrada in Pretoria.
The finance minister was asked to stand as the executive director of the Ahmed Kathrada foundation Neshaan Bolton paid tribute to him. Finance minister Pravin Gordhan received a standing ovation from mourners at the funeral of South African liberation hero, Ahmed Kathrada, while tripartite alliance leaders and former head of state Kgalema Motlanthe bemoaned the state of the organisastion.
