It’s back in 2015, better than ever and heading to Tembisa! Aromat Loxion Comedy is once again shaking up the world of comedy – bringing the funny to the loxions.
2014’s series of hysterical and delicious events featured a range of top comedic talent as well as up-and coming stars-in-the-making. Already in 2015 the Series has featiures of the tastiest comedy around.
From introducing new talent, to honouring SA’s comedy legends such as Joe Molefe, the Aromat Loxion Comedy Series Tour brings nights of laughter to townships across South Africa with jokes and satire about our daily lives as South Africans.
With the demand so high, this year the tour continues its journey across South Africa, bringing Aromat fans an “UNBELIEVABLE” night of comedy once again.
“The Aromat Loxion Comedy Series has kicked off with a bang, already the tour has shaken things up in Soweto, Umlazi and Kwa-Mashu”, explains Jabulile Mthethwa, Knorr Marketing Manager, “ we are so excited to continue rolling out South Africa’s best comedy every month.”
The Aromat Loxion Comedy Series Tour is heading to Tembisa with the show taking place at the Rabasotho Community Hall on the 30th of April 2015 at 19:00.
With an all-star line-up featuring Jay Boogie, Skhumba Hlophe, Felix Hlophe, Isaac Gampu, Mashabalela and Trevor Gumbi, not to mention the hilarious ambassadors of the Aromat Loxion Comedy Series Tour, Aro and Egg, who are sure to leave you in stitches with their appearances at both events.
Aromat Loxion Comedy also continues to honour some of the country’s comedic greats, with Roland Mqwebu being honoured in Kwa Mashu on March 27th. Mqwebu is best known and loved for his role of Mkhize on Emzini Wezinsiwa, the SABC comedy that portrayed the lives of five men who left their homes for the big city, Johannesburg in search for work.
This month, Aromat will honour living legend Mary Twala and the late Ndaba Mhlongo, who is known for his work on Bad Company (1985), Inyakanyaka (1977) and Stoney: The One and Only (1984). Both will be honoured on the 30th April in Tembisa
