1Fetch Makes Same-Day Delivery Fast And Simple

11 September 2026 by Con Tributor

Johannesburg – Businesses and individuals looking for a faster alternative to traditional courier services can turn to 1Fetch, an on-demand motorbike courier service providing same-day delivery solutions in and around Johannesburg and Cape Town.

Unlike conventional courier services that typically operate around fixed collection and delivery schedules, 1Fetch is designed around speed and flexibility. Customers can request a delivery when they need it or schedule one for a convenient time, with deliveries handled directly by a dedicated courier.

For eligible deliveries within its service areas, 1Fetch can provide delivery within three hours, helping businesses move documents, products, equipment and other time-sensitive items without having to wait until the following day.

The service is particularly suited to businesses where fast delivery can make a meaningful difference to customer experience. From getting products to customers quickly to moving important documents or equipment between locations, 1Fetch provides businesses with a practical same-day delivery option.

Customers can place orders through the 1Fetch website or app, enter collection and delivery details, add multiple destinations where required, and receive an updated quotation in real time. Once a delivery is accepted, customers can track its progress and receive electronic proof of delivery on completion.

Security and visibility are also built into the service. 1Fetch provides track-and-trace functionality, electronic signatures and electronic proof of delivery, giving customers greater visibility over their deliveries from collection through to completion.

The service is available across Johannesburg and Cape Town, while 1Fetch also services areas throughout Gauteng where the delivery is to or from Johannesburg. Collections can be arranged within 90 minutes, with the delivery then proceeding directly to its destination.

For companies with recurring delivery requirements, 1Fetch also offers repeat deliveries and integration options, while qualifying businesses can explore enterprise partnership arrangements designed around their specific delivery needs.

With a focus on speed, flexibility and professional service, 1Fetch gives businesses and individuals a convenient way to move smaller packages around the city without the delays associated with traditional next-day courier models.

The Maboneng Precinct: Architecture

Maboneng is architecturally distinct because it rejects the “demolish and rebuild” philosophy. Instead, it embraces adaptive reuse. The Bioscope, South Africa’s only independent cinema, operates out of an old industrial space; The Living Room is a lush rooftop oasis that offers panoramic views of the skyline from atop a concrete shell; and the Museum of African Design (MOAD) was housed in a massive 1970s warehouse. This aesthetic—exposed brick, industrial steel, and vibrant street art—has become the visual shorthand for “cool” Johannesburg. The murals here are particularly significant; they aren’t just decoration but are often massive social commentaries by local and international street artists like Faith47 and ROA, turning the very walls of the city into a public gallery.

However, Maboneng is also at the center of a complex debate regarding gentrification and social integration. Critics argue that while the precinct is a “bubble” of safety and creativity, it often stands in stark contrast to the surrounding poverty of the inner city. The challenge for Maboneng has always been how to be an engine for economic growth without alienating the residents who lived there during the “dark” years. In response, many initiatives within the precinct focus on local entrepreneurship, such as the Market on Main, which provides a platform for local food vendors and designers every Sunday.
