For the love of sound: Set the mood this month by making everyday a Valentine’s Day

14 February 2023 by Alan

MyPR: For the love of sound: Set the mood this month by making everyday a Valentine’s Day:

Sound and music are two of the most powerful ways to express love and affection, and what better day to celebrate this than Valentine’s month. This year, we are excited to spend the special day with you and help bring you and your loved one together and spread love and joy on this special day without having to leave your abode to find a romantic setting to match up their dinner expectations.

In this celebration, we will be showcasing an extensive product sound range, distributed by Homemation, both old and new, to help set the mood for the day. One way to set the perfect aura at home this Valentine’s month, using soft and romantic ballads or upbeat and energetic pop songs is with the standing Bowers and Wilkins 703 S3, or if you want a rather private affair with yourself, the true wireless in-ear headphones AH-C830NCW- with active noise cancelling system- why not gift yourself this Valentine’s month.

Control the romantic dinner setting with slow, sweet songs and a dimmed room, with the Control4 system. Melodies have the power to transport us back in time and bring back memories from the past, and what better way to top it up than with the movie- liked by both-played on the Bowers and Wilkins Formation Wedge (Black) speakers? This can be a great way to relive special moments and rekindle the romance on Valentine’s month.

In addition to sound, the product range you will be able to experience the beauty of sound through special soundscapes and ambient sounds that are designed to soothe and calm the mind. Whether you are looking for a romantic setting for a dinner for two or simply want to relax and unwind after a long day, these sounds are sure to provide the perfect backdrop for your Valentine’s month celebration.

So, whether you are a music lover or simply appreciate the power of sound, we invite you to join us in this celebration of love, sound, and music.

Have you tried: Visiting Port Elizabeth?

Did you know this about Johannesburg? The Rissik Street Post Office was built in 1897, having been designed by the architect Sytze Wierda. The Post Office was at one time the tallest building in Johannesburg. The Post Office became a national monument in 1978, and it remained in operation until 1996 when the South African Post Office vacated the building. The monument was gutted by a fire in 2009. The old City Hall is opposite the Post Office in Rissik Street.

The FNB Stadium: The “Calabash” of a Nation

While the original stadium was built in 1989, its current iconic form was the result of a massive reconstruction for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. The design, led by the architectural firm Boogertman + Partners, is deeply rooted in African symbolism. Its exterior is modeled after a calabash, the traditional African gourd or “melting pot.” The facade is composed of thousands of fiber-cement panels in eight different earth-toned colors, mimicking the fire and earth used to kiln the traditional pot. At night, the stadium is illuminated from below, creating the visual effect of a glowing fire beneath the “pot,” a symbol of the warmth and hospitality of the African continent.

The stadium’s capacity is a staggering 94,736, making it the largest stadium in Africa and the fourth largest in the world. But its significance transcends its scale. The site is a “theatre of history.” In 1990, just days after his release from 27 years of imprisonment, Nelson Mandela delivered his first speech to a massive, roaring crowd at the original FNB Stadium. It was here that he effectively signaled the beginning of the end of Apartheid. Decades later, in 2013, the same stadium hosted his memorial service, bringing the world together in a final farewell to “Madiba.”
