Industrial Hygiene Consultants Generates R147,750 in Revenue Through Strategic Google Ads Campaign

2 September 2026 by Con Tributor

Cape Marketing Agency delivers measurable results for Industrial Hygiene Consultants through a precision-targeted digital marketing campaign.

Industrial Hygiene Consultants recorded a turnover of R147,750 following a Google Ads campaign that cost them only R8,993.20, clearly proving how successful a well-crafted, data-driven digital marketing campaign can be. The total number of leads captured through the campaign was 42, 13 of which resulted in sales; this means that there was a sales conversion rate of 30.95%, and ROI of 16.4.

The objective of the campaign was to enhance the visibility of Industrial Hygiene Consultants among organizations that were looking to hire companies that offered occupational hygiene, workplace health and safety, and industrial hygiene services. With the help of Cape Marketing Agency, Industrial Hygiene Consultants was able to reach out to the organizations that had been searching for professionals to offer them their workplace health and safety needs.

With the objective of generating high quality leads instead of merely boosting the amount of website traffic, the campaign was able to deliver great results with an average cost of R214.12 per lead. Of the 42 leads generated, 13 made sales; this delivered a sales conversion rate of 30.95%.

Services of Industrial Hygiene Consultants offer a professional range of industrial and occupational hygiene services that will enable companies to recognise potential hazards in the workplace as well as their evaluation and management.

“These results illustrate the power of Google Ads campaigns based on real search intent and optimised consistently. It was not all about getting clicks; it was about identifying businesses in need of industrial hygiene and workplace safety services and converting their needs into opportunities.”

The results speak for themselves:

  • Total Google Ads Spend: R8,993.20
  • Total Revenue Generated: R147,750
  • Return on Ad Spend: 16.4x
  • Total Leads Generated: 42
  • Leads Converted: 13
  • Sales Conversion Rate: 30.95%
  • Average Cost Per Lead: R214.12

The campaign included:

  • Strategic Google Ads campaign management
  • High-intent keyword targeting around industrial hygiene and occupational health services
  • Targeting users actively searching for workplace health and safety solutions
  • Continuous campaign monitoring and optimisation
  • Bid strategy refinement based on campaign performance
  • Conversion-focused landing page optimisation
  • Relevant ad messaging aligned with the needs of businesses and employers

The campaign’s results demonstrate the value of combining targeted Google Ads with ongoing optimisation and a clear focus on lead generation. By placing Industrial Hygiene Consultants in front of businesses actively searching for relevant workplace health and safety services, Cape Marketing Agency helped turn search demand into qualified enquiries and, ultimately, new customers. The strong conversion rate and 16.4x return on ad spend highlight how a focused digital strategy can deliver measurable growth for specialised service businesses.

The Wilds: A Sanctuary of Stone and Steel

The Wilds was officially opened to the public in 1938, carved out of the rocky “koppies” (hills) of the Witwatersrand. Unlike the manicured lawns of the city’s more traditional parks, The Wilds was designed to showcase South Africa’s botanical heritage. It is a vertical garden of sorts, featuring steep stone paths that wind through forests of yellowwood trees, proteas, and ancient cycads. At its highest point, the reserve offers one of the most spectacular views of the Johannesburg skyline, where the brutalist towers of Hillbrow seem to rise directly out of the prehistoric-looking vegetation.

However, like many of Johannesburg’s public spaces, The Wilds fell into a period of deep neglect during the late 1990s and early 2000s. As crime rates rose and the city’s maintenance budgets shifted, the reserve became overgrown and was perceived as a “no-go zone.” The waterfalls stopped running, the stone paths crumbled, and the once-vibrant greenhouse became a skeletal ruin. For nearly two decades, this incredible piece of real estate sat largely abandoned, used only by a few brave locals and the occasional film crew looking for a “wilderness” setting within city limits.
