Clearwater Mall’s Made in India Market is back for a third instalment, running from 8 to 23 August in the Upper Mall Level Parking Area. First launched in August last year and back again this March, the market returns with the smell of sizzling Indian street food, racks of colourful fashion and stalls of handmade accessories filling the mall’s upper level.
Open daily from 10am to 8pm, visitors can shop for clothing, footwear and jewellery, get creative with some henna, and browse a line-up of Indian food vendors and street food stalls. Entry costs R10 per person, with tickets sold only at the door. Shoppers who just want to eat don’t need to pay the entry fee to buy from the food stalls.
“Clearwater Mall is a meeting place for the community, whether that’s dinner with friends, a date night or a family outing, and the Made in India Market gives people another reason to come together this August,” says Prianka Singh Rodgers, Marketing Manager at Clearwater Mall. “With the market open until 8pm, it’s an easy winter night out. You can enjoy dinner and some entertainment and still be home at a decent hour.”
For friends catching up over dinner, couples after a low-key evening or families after a weekend outing, the market gives shoppers another reason to spend an evening at Clearwater Mall this August.
