The Wilds: Profound Experience

One of the most profound experiences in The Wilds is standing on the Munro Drive side of the reserve at sunset. To your left, you have the historic mansions of Houghton, built by the mining magnates of the 1920s. Directly ahead, you have the pulsing, dense high-rises of Hillbrow and Berea. And beneath your feet, you have the ancient quartzite rock of the Witwatersrand, which has remained unchanged for millions of years.
